From Sicily to America
In 2014, Marco left Palermo with little more than a dream and a deep love for Italian food. After years of experience across Las Vegas and Morgan Hill, he convinced his brother Giacomo to make the journey. In 2018, their vision took shape: Italian Brothers Bakery opened in San Jose — a labor of love built on sacrifice, determination, and the desire to share the authentic flavors of Sicily with California.
The Success of Italian Brothers
In 2020, Italian Brothers Restaurant opened its doors in Los Gatos — right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Against all odds, the local community rallied around them with extraordinary warmth and support. Today, Italian Brothers is one of the most beloved Italian restaurants in the Bay Area, a testament to the Montevago family's resilience, passion, and unwavering commitment to authentic Italian cuisine.
